WHAT IS LEGNACCIO?

LEGNACCIO è un progetto di arte contemporanea che esplora il potenziale espressivo del legno di recupero attraverso quadri-sculture da parete che uniscono artigianalità, design e autenticità della materia.

Ogni opera è interamente realizzata a mano, preservando le texture naturali, i segni e le imperfezioni che definiscono il carattere del legno. Piuttosto che celare queste imperfezioni, LEGNACCIO le trasforma in un linguaggio visivo in cui memoria, gioco e forma convivono.

Per loro natura aperte a molteplici interpretazioni, le sculture invitano lo spettatore a instaurare un dialogo personale con l'opera e con lo spazio che la accoglie.

Fondato dai designer Giovanni e Caterina, LEGNACCIO riflette una visione in cui la sostenibilità si fa gesto artistico, conferendo ai materiali di recupero una nuova identità, capace di durare nel tempo.

LEGNACCIO is a contemporary art project exploring the expressive potential of reclaimed wood through sculptural wall pieces that merge craftsmanship, design, and material authenticity.

Each work is entirely handcrafted, preserving the natural textures, marks, and imperfections that define the character of the wood. Rather than concealing these imperfections, LEGNACCIO transforms them into a visual language where memory, play and form coexist. 

Open-ended by nature, every sculpture invites personal interpretation, creating a unique dialogue between the artwork, the space, and the viewer. 

Founded by designers Giovanni and Caterina, LEGNACCIO reflects a vision in which sustainability becomes an artistic gesture, giving reclaimed materials a new and enduring identity.
